Design, Construction, and Control Tracking of Solar Thermal Concentrator by Using PLC in Erbil

This paper demonstrates the construction designing analysis and control strategies for fully tracking concentrated solar thermal by using programmable logic in city of Erbil-Iraq. work used parabolic dish as a thermal. At focal point, collected form energy is heating (water) receiver, analyzing this prototype real-time with two different shapes receiver comparing results. For dish, four light-dependent resistors are to detect sun's position sky so that system follows it make beam radiation perpendicular collector surface all time during day maximum power energy. discusses essential stages two-axis prototype; implementation, solar-location strategy, terms theory, structural design, material. two-axis-prototype implemented help -Siemens (S7-1200) unit. study results show tracker cylindrical conical obtains 15.25% Improved efficiency comparison receiver. According testing both convenient steam production.
